Application

DS-06 glue It mainly apply to the solid wood furniture ,like laminated wood, particle board, door panel jointing, and solid wood, door pocket, door line banding, or other wooden block gluing etc., and for splicing various kind of woods, like Birch, oak, pine, elm, white ash, hybrid woods, and so on, except rosewood

1.Wood Moisture Adjustment
Adjust the moisture content of wood, adopt by dry machine adjustment 8%~12%, controlled it within 0.5% is the best status; keep the wood 20~35 degree centigrade, 50~65% relative humidity for 5~10 days, measure the water content during processing, until it is qualified.
2. Wood Processing and Surface Treatment
When you processing the log cutting, should pay attention the orthodromic of wood texture, as this also has the big influence of cracking problem for solid wood furniture.
Surface moulding, roughness should be less than 0.1mm/m. Curved wood making, the gap between two parts of wood should be less than 0.1mm. Please keep it clean, oilless, dust-free, waterless, and non concave-convex or uncurved status.
After fresh gluing, planer processing, it will be joint within 3~4 hours
Mix proportions and Usage
1. Part A and Part B component according to 100:10~15weigh in mix: structural type wood can match 100:18(according to the soft or hard of wood).
2. Fully stir, total number of matching materials should be less than 4kg, homogeneous mix, manually stir should more than 3mins, the electrically stir about 60 mins.
3.The volume of glue is 180~250g/m2,need single side gluing, for structural wood need double side gluing
4.To keep the glue fresh, please do not make excessive glue preparation. Please use it within 40mins after mixing, the best to keep it in 20 degree centigrade. Please do not use it under the 5 degree centigrade. Also the opening time can not be more than 3mins.
Curing
- Put on clamps(tongs) after gluing
- Pressure: Hard Wood 0.8~1.2 Mpa Soft Wood 0.5~0.8 Mpa
- If Use High frequency press time is 3~4mins
- After curing, few glue remain with hardness (plastic feeling on hand), so you can take away the clamps
Attention
- After curing, can start the next procedure should be 24hours later. curing 7days later ,can do Japan JAS Standard Impregnation or Boiling Water Resistance transpression peeling test.
- Part B component should keep away from eyes, skin and soft tissues. If be contaminated, please rinse well with water timely.
